E-Pustakalaya

E-Pustakalaya stands out as an education-oriented digital library, comprising a diverse range of resources including full-text documents, books, images, videos, audio files, and interactive educational software. Accessible via both intranet and internet connections, this platform aims to enhance the reading abilities of children and foster a culture of reading in educational institutions.

Initiated by OLE Nepal in 2008, E-Pustakalaya was designed to grant free and open access to age-appropriate reading materials. Its objective is not just to improve reading skills among students but also to support research initiatives and encourage independent inquiry. Since its launch in 2009, the platform has become a valuable resource for teachers and adults, offering an array of educational materials encompassing subjects such as agriculture, health, environment, and local technologies.

Users can navigate E-Pustakalaya through various sections or utilize its search functionality for specific items by inputting full or partial details such as author names, titles, publishers, or relevant keywords. The platform also facilitates exploration of related resources through convenient one-click links based on author, publisher, or keywords. Additionally, users can engage with content directly by reading books, viewing videos, listening to audio clips, and playing educational games. Books and documents are available for download and offline storage. Access is further enhanced through the E-Pustakalaya app for Android devices, allowing users to connect to both online and offline servers.

The resources within E-Pustakalaya operate under the Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution-Non Commercial-Share Alike copyright licenses. It is important to note that external links included within the library do not possess direct affiliations with OLE Nepal; they have been curated solely for user benefit.
